     "I'm alive!" said a little kid on the playground. All he ever did was slide down the slide and climb the monkey bars.
     "How do you know that?" said another kid inspecting ants on the ground.
     "I just know." answered the kid in frustration.
     "If you can't prove that your alive, then how are you alive?" inquired the other kid.
     "I'm Jack. What's your name?" Jack was trying to deflect his question.
     The other boy picked up on this. "Ahh, trying to deflect my question. That's alright. I'm Carter."
     "Carter, has anyone ever told you that you ask way to many questions?" asked Jack.
     "Yes," answered Carter, "But the more questions I ask, the more I can understand."
     "Alright," Jack replied, "But don't you think that you have to take somethings for granted like that you are alive?" Jack moved ever so closer to Carter.
     "No, I believe there is an explanation for everything." Carter replied. He became more and more annoyed with Jack's questions.
     A few minutes past. Jack was standing next to Carter. "What are you looking at?" inquired Jack.
     "I'm watching the ants move in perfect accord with each other. Do you know how they can do this?" Carter replied. 
     "Don't they move like that because they do?" asked Jack.
     "They move in perfect unison because they have to in order to support their queen." replied Carter
     "Your funny, you think you can understand everything by using your own eyes." Jack replied. Jack left and went home.

Are you distracted by technology?

     To answer this plainly, No, I am not distracted to technology. I honestly work better on a computer or iPad than on paper. I find it easier and more efficient to work with others using technology. Technology allows us to be miles apart and be working on the same virtual piece of paper. This can be seen as a huge benefit to collaboration and cooperation. I would even say that technology allows me to stay more focused on what I am working on. I am able to listen to helpful music and look up helpful tips while getting the work done in a timely manner, albeit it does have its drawbacks.      I think that technological distraction results from irresponsibility. Research Update

     Between our Social Studies and English classes, I have been working on a joint research paper. The topic I chose was Karl Marx relationship with Russian communism. I have found this topic to be very interesting thus far. I think a lot of people get confused about what communism actually is. Communism is a socioeconomic system that is supposed to benefit the proletariat or working class people. This system seems good in theory, but it has its problems. It all starts off with the criticism of Capitalism, the current dominant economic system. They say that the Bourgeois, middle class, are only making the proletariat suffer through the economic system through taking advantage of them.       Communism really boils down to one key economic prospect: the abolition of private property. The communist argument goes that since the Bourgeois own the means of producing goods, The Bourgeois can and are taking advantage of the proletariat. Final Fantasy XV: A Beautiful Piece of Art

     Over Christmas break, I played many video games. One video game in particular struck me in a new way. This game was Final Fantasy XV . Final Fantasy XV  take place in the fantasy world of Eos, which is split between two countries, Niflheim and Lucis. The game follows Noctis, the prince of Lucis, and his friends as they go on a journey to reclaim their homeland. This has been one of the best games I have played ever. The story is great and it develops the characters really well. Not only that, there is so much to do in Eos. It ranges from have lunch at a cafe to fighting off daemons at night. The game is incredibly diverse and there is so much for the player to do.      One of the things that make this game especially great is its character development. Noctis, the main character, is only in his twenties. The game shows this very clearly as Noctis doesn't have the best judgement in the world.
